I was thinking about this today – how it’s in Google’s best long term interest to have a good, strong viable competition to it’s search engine. Counter intuitive as it may sound, but Google risks becoming the next Altavista. The once industry leader who lost virtually it’s huge market share to Google with their release of [...] If you don’t have time to continually update your website with new content, I’ve found one little tip seems to impact your search results – re-save pages and re-upload them to your webserver. Ideally make a few minor changes – and that seems to reset Google’s algorithm for how old your content is. |
